The new Omonia Square in downtown Athens was unveiled this week, completely renovated, with a beautiful water fountain. The Omonia Square reconstruction is part of the grand plan to revamp the capital city introducing the Megalos Peripatos (Great Walk) for improving the quality of life in the city as well attracting international visitors.

Megalos Peripatos is one of the largest urban interventions in the city.

This film captures in 2 minutes the entire construction of the New Omonia Square in timelapse video.
