Meet and take a walk in Kerasochoria of Komotini. It is a “different proposal”, a  different excursion. Cherries harvesting time!

So you will start your trek from Komotini.
You will pull towards Hephaestus and before, you will turn the Campus towards Folia, and from there Kerasochoria begins. You will continue to Dymi, Agiasma, Thamna and Asomatous 🌷
Next to you,  the roads loaded with cherries..Wonderful pictures.
Spring beauty, will lead you to Kefalochori Sostis.
This is where the Cherry Festival takes place, under the foothills of the Byzantine Papiki Mountains.
For food you will go to the village of Mischos (“Magalia”), while if you return to Xanthi it is very nice to “Arnemousi” (Iasmos).
You can also see the monastery of Maximos Kausokalyvas, just 4 km from M. Pisto. If your return is to Komotini, stop at Yfantes (“Pytharia”).
