A delicious traditional dish, which could be made with lamb, chicken or any meat.
Gather all the ingredients (image 1). Prepare the chicken by removing some of the skin, and chop the onions, garlic and carrot.
Sauté the chicken, onions, garlic and carrot, until onions are soft/glazed and the chicken has some color ((image 2).
Add the bay leaves and red wine and continue Sauté for a couple of minutes (image 3).
Lower the heat and add the dices/blended tomatoes along with some water. Cover the pot and cook for 20 minutes on low heat.
Next step is to empty the cooking pot into a pan (I use Pyrex glass pan 38x25x4 cm).
Place the uncooked noodles in the pan and add a couple of cups of water. Stir evenly all the ingredients in the pan (image 4).
Cover the pan with aluminum foil and place the pan in a preheat oven at 375f.
Leave it covered in the oven for 25 minutes. Then, uncover (image 5), and broil on high heat for 4-5 minutes. Your dish is done (image 6).
